PE students got a feel for what it’s like not to be able to walk when they strapped into seats for a game of wheelchair basketball. A local company called Bridge ll Sports - which provides support for those with disabilities - came to Jordan for a day in mid-April and brought wheelchairs specifically made for basketball. SWIMMING: The men’s team finished 6th in the state, with a first-place finish and new school record in the 200 Free Relay (A. Johnson, DeSimone, Keaton, Sutherland). It marked the first state-winning swim event by a JHS team since 2003. The women’s team came in 15th in the state, with Emily Darnell capturing 5th place in IM diving.
