Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the time I was a little kid playing in the yard with my two brothers, I already knew this was what I wanted to do. I didn’t just fall in love with the game, I understood it.

I knew the positions, I knew where everyone belonged, and I always wanted to play defensive line. When I was four, my dad used to help me line up this little football man I had as a kid, showing me how to get in a stance and where I was supposed to attack. Those moments stuck with me. As I got older, I realized I was built for the trenches. I loved being physical, making plays, tackling, everything about being a defensive lineman: the battle at the line of scrimmage, the strength, the technique, the mindset. Even though I had the passion and the work ethic, my recruiting process started off slow. I watched other players get early attention, and I knew I could compete with them. But instead of getting discouraged, I kept working. Every lift, every rep, every practice was another chance to prove myself. Then during my sophomore year, things finally started to change. Right before we played Riverside, I got my first offer from the University of South Carolina. That conversation meant everything.

Then, like tumbling dominos, 40+ more Division 1 schools -Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, LSU, Florida, UNC, NC State, Duke, and more - followed with full-ride scholarship offers.
It felt like all the hours, all the dedication, and all the belief I had in myself were
finally being seen. Getting those offers reminded me why I love football so much. I started as a kid lining up toy football players with my dad, dreaming about being a defensive lineman. Now I’m living out the dream I always knew I wanted and this is just the beginning. Fast forward to today: I have signed my letter of intent and I’m ready to be a Gamecock.
But my story is nowhere close to being finished. Committing to South Carolina is just one step and I know I still have so much to prove. I’m working every day to be the best Noah Clark I can possibly be on and off the field with having the ultimate goal of going to the NFL. This will not be easy but I've never been scared of hard work. I’ve been chasing my dreams since I was a kid and I won’t stop until I’m playing on Sundays.
