The students have redeemed themselves after a 16-18 overtime loss in last year’s winter pep rally.
It seemed like the teachers were still riding their wave of success from last year, because when we asked Mr. O’Keefe if he thought they would win, he simply responded, “yes.”
Finally, the seconds ticking down, the students shoot, and the students score. Victory. The game ended with roars of success from both the student team and the crowd witnessing this game, the score board reading: 26-22.
Both teams were gradually hyped up by a fierce performance by Jordan’s Dance Team and the spring sports teams, who threw t-shirts into the crowd.

The students, however, were determined to make a win, showing their enthusiasm in a pre-game huddle, to which the crowd joined in clapping and cheering along. The students were clad in black and the teachers in red as they were introduced onto the court.
The teachers won the tipoff and shot an almost immediate three pointer. After another three from the teachers, the students pulled it together with an impressive jumpshot and two pointer. After a few subs, heated stalling from both sides, and a missed buzzer beater from the students, halftime arrived. After an intense game of musical chairs, the students were locked and loaded, itching to get back onto the court. Determined to come back impressive jumpshot and two pointer. Determined to come back after Mr. Green shot an impressive three pointer, the students dodged every attempted steal and scored two more times before the teachers could catch up. With little time left on the clock, the students airball, raising tensions and pressure to pull through.
