In Memory of Marcus D. Bethea, Jr.
With heavy hearts we are sad to report the death of Marcus D. Bethea, Jr. Born June 15, 2012, one of Jordan’s own passed away on October 8 at 14 years old.
Marcus was a freshman at Jordan, and a friend to many. One of his best friends, freshman Dylan Morrison, describes Marcus as friendly and “probably the funniest person” he knows.
Freshman Jonathan Nguyen, another one of Marcus’s close friends, says Marcus loved anime and playing video games and football. “He was surprisingly fast [on the football field],” said Morrison.
Both friends described Marcus as caring, saying that he would always check up on other people and ask how they were doing, looking out for them all the time.
