Guide to Exams (AP, State, and Teacher-Made)

AP exams are just around the corner and review is in full swing at Jordan. There are just 5 school days until exams begin, meaning both students and teachers are making sure that they are prepared. 

There are still reviews being held up until the exam begins for each class. The schedule can be found in the calendar below, as well as on the Jordan website and the AP Students Canvas page. 

AP exams will occur from May 5 until May 16 with morning and afternoon exams almost every day. Exams will be held at Hope Valley Baptist Church and students are expected to park or be dropped off at Jordan and walk to the church to take their test. Due to the change in location, students must arrive at 7:30 am for morning exams at 11:30 am for afternoon exams. Exams are highlighted in yellow in the calendar below.

Almost all AP exams are entirely digital or hybrid exams, meaning that all students must bring their fully charged computer (with Bluebook downloaded) and charger with them to all exams. For more information on the testing schedule and information, visit the Jordan website at jordan.dpsnc.net. 

As for state EOCs and teacher-made exams, they will be held from June 3 to June 11, but there has not been information on when specific exams are occurring. English II, Math I, Math III, Biology, and certain CTE courses all have state required exams that must be taken, regardless of exemption status.
