Game Plan: Future at the Emily K. Center, is hosting Bull City in Black, a free HBCU showcase taking place on February 7th. The event collaborates and brings together with local and regional HBCUs, along with community based organizations, to provide Durham students and families with college and career resources.

Throughout the academic year, Game Plan: Future hosts multiple events and workshops focused on college access, career readiness, and postsecondary planning. Bull City in Black features multiple workshops and panel discussions with HBCU students, alumni, admission representatives and more. Bull City in Black aims to help students “make valuable connections with HBCU admission reps and alumni,” while also ensuring they “get exposed to free resources and community-based organizations” throughout Durham, according to Ronicia James, the postsecondary access advisor at Game Plan: Future.
