Emily K Center to Hold Event at Jordan in May

The Emily K Center, a nonprofit organization that works to build on the “academic, career, and leadership potential of students,” is hosting a one-hour workshop at Jordan called The College Application Process from A to Z. 

The event is open to all grade levels but is aimed at juniors. It will take place in the Jordan Media Center on May 22nd from 4:30 to 5:30pm. There will be a presentation that will cover a wide variety of topics, including recommendation letters, academic resumes, writing essays, scholarships, and so much more! 

There will also be a Senior Advice Panel, which will consist of four to five Jordan seniors who will share their experiences with the college application process over the past year. Seniors are able to apply to be on the panel and should be interested in sharing about choosing colleges, asking for recommendation letters, writing college essays, etc.
