2025 Jordan Spring Prom

 On May 17th from 7-11 pm, Jordan’s junior and senior prom will be hosted in downtown Durham at the Cotton Room. Early Bird ticket sales ended April 11th, but if you missed out on those, don’t worry! You can still buy them for $75 through the Jordan Website or SGA Instagram. If you are interested in free prom tickets, Jordan’s annual promposal competition is underway. The submission form closes this Friday, May 2nd, so brainstorm fast and get creative. Second place gets 50% off their tickets and first place wins two free tickets. Student Government will vote from May 5th-9th and winners will be announced on Monday, May 12th. 

The theme for prom is “Golden Gala,” and there have been mixed reviews over that decision. An anonymous source asked, “Can a color really be counted as a theme?” Another said, “I already have my dress, is it bad I won't be in gold?” Whatever the opinions are, I’m sure the gold will look amazing and I can't wait to see how our prom planning committee decorates the venue. Gold or not, we are looking forward to the amazing attire and good music (hopefully). Get your prom tickets now!
